Critical situations and events in Plants and Refineries must be handled in such a way so as not to cause more harm to personnel or damage to the Industry concerned. This takes careful planning and implementation and should there be an occurrence it follows that the right personnel have the ability to deal with the situation effectively and safely.

The Participants will understand the different emergency situations and how to control them effectively and understanding all aspects to be covered prior to and in the event of and situation arising. It also covers the events which must include the local environment impacts and uses considerable case study as examples of handling techniques and precautions.
